Elaine McParland

Managing Director

Elaine opened the doors of her salon on Theatre Lane in Greystones during Christmas Week 2010 in the midst of one of the heaviest snow falls the country has ever seen. Thankfully it didn’t put a dampener on her new business and her chosen brand name “Up To My Eyes” has been self prophesying for Elaine, she literally never stops! Working in the business as well as on it, Elaine loves every aspect of her chosen career and plans to keep creating enviable brows and lashes for all her clients well into the future.

Stephanie Doyle

Receptionist

I am a full time receptionist here at Up To My Eyes and I love being part of this amazing team of women who bring joy to their clients every day of the week through building their confidence and making them feel glamourous. My background was always in project managing and I am glad I have these skills as this little salon with so many clients, needs plenty of managing. Every day brings new challenges and changes so I feel totally fulfilled in my job. On my time off I love travelling as I am enthusiastic to learn about foreign cultures and I love trying my hand at landscape photography.

Emily Adams

Lash & Brow Specialist

Since starting at Up To My Eyes in 2012, my skills have grown from strength to strength and I love the fact that my job allows me to grow and develop and constantly learn. I am an aficionado of brows and my favourite treatments to carry out are hdBrows and emBrowdery. Brows can be so challenging as every brow bone is different and every face shape unique. I get so much satisfaction from transforming a face and making some of my clients look years younger. I also thoroughly enjoy creating lovely lashes using the classic and Russian volume techniques. I am told I am very suited to my job, that’s probably because I love people and genuinely get attached to all my clients.

Mary Daly

Finance & Accounts

I am Elaine’s sister and friend and my background is in accounts. For many years I worked as a team project manager with Accenture. When Elaine opened Up To My Eyes she persuaded me to come join her and her team and I have to say, I’m delighted I did. In fact, I even moved down to live in Greystones! For such a relatively small business, this salon really keeps me on my toes as it is always busy and there is always tons of work to get through. The ambiance is terrific because we all get on so well and because the girls delight their clients with their skills, it really is a happy place to work.

Sasha Sokolova

Lash, Brow & Lipmentation Specialist

I’ve come a long way to be part of the team here at Up To My Eyes! I’m originally Russian but born in Latvia. I came to Ireland 12 years ago and this is where I now call home. I started my career in beauty, initially in nails. In 2009 I met Elaine when I came to train with her in eyelash extensions. A few years later she offered me a job so I left Balbriggan where I was then living and moved to Delgany. This was a very good move for me and my daughter because we now love this area. I am driven by beauty and harmony and I believe there are no limits to increasing knowledge and skills. I find my work doing Lipmentation and emBrowdery rewarding and interesting and I look forward to the next challenge Elaine throws at me.

Ciara Donohoe

Head of Training & Receptionist

Elaine and I first worked together when we were only 19 years old and now, many years on, we still get a kick out of balancing each other’s Ying and Yang. I joined Up To My Eyes initially 6 years ago for three weeks holiday cover while Elaine was away and I’m still here! That alone is testimony to the fab place it is to work in. I spent most of those years full time at reception and I am now also involved in the organisation and planning of the Academy’s training programmes. There’s never a dull moment here at Up To My Eyes and I enjoy the flexibility and fast pace of the day to day goings on. Aside from all that, I also enjoy the fun atmosphere in the salon. On my own time, I love walking, cycling and skiing whenever possible.

Deborah Young

Lash, Brow & Nail Specialist

Since qualifying as a beautician in Dublin and further training in London, I travelled to Australia & The Pacific where I worked as a skin specialist onboard P&O Cruise Lines for over 3 years. Since returning to Ireland I have worked in several salons developing my skills. Here at Up To My Eyes I specialise in Eyelash Extensions, HD Henna Brows and Microneedling. I also help out at the nail desk so my job is varied and interesting. My passion is customer care and my aim is to ensure my clients are totally satisfied with the experience they have during their treatments with me.

Jurgita Vaupsiene

Brow Specialist

I am Lithuanian and came to Ireland over 14 years ago in search of better opportunities and lifestyle. My initial challenge was the language and getting to know the humour and ways of the Irish. In 2012 I attended the Beauty Show in the RDS and decided after meeting Elaine and seeing emBrowdery in action, to take up another challenge, learning this particular skill in semi permanent makeup. I enrolled in the course there and then and a year later, Elaine encouraged me to come to work with the team at Up To My Eyes. It has taken me many years of non stop practice and patience to get to where I am today but I have loved every minute of it. I come to work every day in the knowledge that I am going to help men and women feel better about themselves by giving them natural and real looking brows. The letters of thanks and appreciation make all the hard work worth it and I love my job.

Vivian Mann

Lash Specialist

Since training as a beautician I have worked in many salons upskilling and growing and specialising in eyelash extensions. I joined the Up To My Eyes team in 2016 and love working with such a great bunch of girls. The day flies by and the work is varied. We are encouraged to upskill and train in new procedures and techniques and the constant support and encouragement to be our best makes my job challenging, interesting and rewarding.
